TISICS was established in 2005 to develop a new class of materials and manufacturing technologies to help solve some of the world's toughest engineering challenges. We are a privately held SME based in Farnborough, the birthplace of British aerospace.

TISICS is committed to widening the adoption of advanced materials which hold the key to using Earth’s resources more efficiently and expanding our horizons in the stars.

Our Approach

TISICS is powered by a team of experts in materials, manufacturing and aerospace engineering. We operate a fully equipped small-batch manufacturing facility and work with customers from raw material supply to final product delivery.

Agile, lateral thinking is in our DNA, combined with over 30 years experience in metal composite development and over 20 years experience in aerospace component development and fabrication.

Rich Technology Heritage

TISICS' rich technology heritage began with BP Research in the 1990s to establish UK capability for high performance fibre and metal composites.

Following transfer to QinetiQ in the late 90s futher developed aero gas turbine and landing gear component development in close partnership with aerospace primes.

TISICS was founded in 2005 after acquiring the technology, to accelerate commercialisation in a range of industrial sectors.
